Music is life itself. The Irreplaceable Triad
Music is an extraordinary phenomenon. Creation of music is three-dimensional.
What creates music?
Music is created from elements of exact scientific, physical, mathematical, structural (almost architectural or medical) nature. For example: sound, rhythm, structures linear (and
vertical = harmonic), hearing, memory, and - sometimes - acrobatic, motor coordination. As a result, this magical language expresses and evokes experiences and feelings without words or real images. It is like the human body made of physical matter and endowed and animated by spirit, thoughts, and feelings.
Who creates music? The irreplaceable triad: composer, performer, and listeners!
The composer creates his story, image, and message from the aforementioned elements, both consciously and intuitively, according to his talent and imagination, secrets, and experiences.
The performer. Music not performed is like a thought that is not expressed in words or speech or writing. It is conceived but not born. Therefore, the performer is always a co-creator of the work: interpreting the composer's intention but enriched with his own image of the work. Somehow it's like a picture superimposed on a picture.
The listener. The music work is still unborn when there is no listener. He or her absorbs both stories: the composer's intention and performer's interpretation. On this canvas he or her adds own personal image of the piece. And under such conditions the creation of music work is really done.
You can check and evaluate my reflection after one week already: on Friday, April 25th at 6:00 pm, at the exceptional concert held at the Kuwait Music Academy's hall in Salwa, Block 1, Street 100, Al Danah bldg.

Two parts of Triad are booked already. A variety of attractive works by an impressive deck of composers and an excellent team of soloists (vocalists and instrumentalists) from KMA.
We need Third Part - you as a Listener. (Mare details - next week.)
Enough words.
Let us play: On the occasion of the 150th birthday anniversary of the great French composer Maurice Ravel, please enjoy a recording of his beautiful Introduction and Allegro for Harp, Flute, Clarinet & String Quartet by Ukrainian harpist Yaroslava Nekliaieva, artists of the National Ensemble of Soloists Kyiv Camerata, and wind soloists. One of the recording artists is clarinetist & multi-instrumentalist Viktor Shramko, a teacher at Kuwait Music Academy.
He will also be a performer at our aforementioned concert next Friday!
